We don't do new construction framing, and we don't touch commercial rolling steel doors or fire-rated assemblies - that's a different trade with different code requirements. If your door is a total loss (bent tracks beyond straightening, a section cracked through, an opener that's outlived its parts) we'll tell you replacement makes more sense than a repair bill that chases a dying door. We also won't quote a job blind over the phone when the hardware sounds non-standard; a lot of the housing stock in this area dates to 1947-1990, median build year around 1967, and that means original torsion setups, discontinued track widths, and panel sizes that stopped shipping decades ago.
We'd rather see it in person than guess and get it wrong. If a job needs a specialty part we can't get on a normal supplier run, we say so up front instead of stringing along a repair that's going to fail again in six months.
